Abstract:

In the title compound, C9H10O3, one of the methoxy C atoms deviates from the

plane of the aromatic ring by 0.337 (2) A ° . Crystallization was hindered by oiling

out in various solvents. The crystal contains neither hydrogen bonds nor

aromatic π–π stacking.
